    Pros: the best PDA at this time 11-2004

    Cons: none

    It is a good PDA for Games, and medical applications. I can find medical, and drug information with epocrates, and current consult for medicine quickly.

    Almost Perfect for me

    Pros: bluetooth, good size

    Cons: no built-in wifi

    This is my second Palm device. I love the Palm operating system. It is simple and efficient. As far as the T5 is concerned, I really like this device. I learn more about how to use it every day. At first, the fact that it didn't have built-in wif...i didn't bother me much, but as I try to include this PDA more into my lifestyle, I'm realizing that I really want built-in wifi. That is really my only complaint with this PDA. I wish I could "push" my contacts to my cell phone in order to call people, but that's Verizon's fault not the T5. Other than that it works great. I would recommend it this PDA if you don't mind either living without wifi or adding a SD card to get it. Read more Less

    Best Palm I've Had

    Pros: Ease of use

    Cons: Wish it had a bigger hard drive

    I've had Palm Pilots from the beginning and this is the best one yet so I stopped upgrading each time a new one came out. I couldn't get through my day without my T5 as I have all my appointments on it, games to see me through waiting rooms a...nd the latest novels I'm reading. I really haven't needed any support from Palm as nothing has gone wrong in all the years I've had it. I gave fewer stars because I had a bad experience with them over a program I purchased. There are so many great applications I only wish the hard drive were one gig. It does utilize a card though. Read more Less

    very expensive. great features. very usefull. can not be serviced even by the mother company. they would charge you a lot of $$ for doing nothing. simply to the trash once the battery requires replacement.

    Pros: LARGE BRIGHT TEXT SIZE, MEMORY DOES NOT ERASE OR GET LOST WHEN YOU LOSE BATTERY

    Cons: AFTER 2 YEARS THE DEVICE DOES NOT REACT OT THE STYLUS IN A CONSISTENT MANNER. SOMETIMES NO REACTION AT ALL, OTHER TIMES THE CURSOR APPEARS IN ANOTHER PART OF THE SCREEN.

    THE FEATURES ARE VERY NICE EXCEPT THAT I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT ONE COULD NOT SAVE MY DATA TO THE SD CARD UNLESS I WENT THROUGH MY COMPUTER. TRANSFERING DATA FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT WAS TEDIOUS AS YOU COULD ONLY TRANSFER ONE ITEM AT A TIME. THE SAME ...USING IR TRANSFER. AFTER 2 YEARS USE THE CURSOR RESPONSE BECAME SO ERATIC THAT IT WAS ALMOST USELESS. I AM NOW LOOKING INTO GETTING ANOTHER PDA. TRYING TO GET HELP FROM HP WAS EXASPERATING. IN THE END THEY HAVE NOT SOLVED MY PROBLEM. Read more Less

    More than you need

    Pros: Fast and easy

    Cons: Palm support speak bad english

    I am not so techy that I don't ever have to call for help. When I have called Palm support I have never been able to speak to a native English speaker. They are nice people, but it is frustrating, at times. I would pay more money to have someone ...I could communicate with. The T5 is superb. Read more Less

    Breaks all the time

    Pros: Has all the features I need

    Cons: Breaks constantly with weak support

    I purchased a Tungsten T5 because it had the exact features I wanted in a hand held. I have had to send the unit back to Palm 4 times because it failed. After the third time I demanded that they send me a new unit because the old one was clearly defe...ctive. Unfortunately the new unit is no better. I have had it for 3-1/2 months (just long enough to have no support) and it will not power up. Not only that, but when they replaced the unit they voided the original warranty. I am still in the warranty period of the first unit, but they ditched that when they sent me a replacement. I run the IT operations for a company and deal with a wide range of hardware and software vendors. I have never had this level of ridiculous policy and trash product to deal with before. Don't buy Palm! Read more Less
