Pros: Very fast chip, much improved screen, upgraded programs expecially the very pleasing Calender interface. SD card add-ons allow me to keep 3 bibles of different versions, a few e-books with a lot of room for more!!

Cons: Hangs readily with partially compatible programs, Chinese characters files used with T2 cannot be read on T3-- because of different chips? Relatively short batter life.

I upgraded to T3 from T2. The expandable view window is useful for reading documents. I guess the software engineers have done a lot of R&D on this new model so that the user interface has become easier and more pleasant to use. The only problem I d...islike is the relatively short battery life. I need to recharge everyday with only modest usage. If Wi-fi is installed on the device without the use of a SD card, it would be even better. A worthy piece of tool for everybody. Read more Less

Pros: Compact, Light, Lots of features, Love the expandable screen

Cons: Kind of expensive for what you initially get

This PDA is great. From its capabilities (bluetooth enabled, lots of software compatibility, etc) to its standard features (great resolution, PDF reader, web browser), I can't really ask for anything more except maybe a lower price. But in compar...ison, it is priced about right. The 90' flip on the screen is nice but not entirely necessary. What I like better is being able to hide the 'grafitti' writing area to maximize screen size. Very nice! And as one of my coworkers pointed out, even the stylus is nice. It's sturdy and expandable (it locks into the PDA with a "click release" like a click-top ball point pen) so it's easy to write with. The battery only lasts me about 3 - 4 hours of constant use so it's not really that much. I wish it had come with more software, but there's so much available out there, it really doesn't matter. Read more Less

    easy hot sync???

    By Mexico6-argentina1  Dec 8, 2003 | 9 out of 11 found this Palm Tungsten T3 review helpful

    Pros: memory

Cons: trouble with the hot sync

I`m a palm user since the 515, then the tungstent/t, and now the T3, since I bought the T3 I had some troubles hot sync, the first sync I did, was with the tungstent/t soofware because I want to save all my info, and I did, but when I installed the T...3 soofware I could`t make the hot sync, I went tho Office deppot (where I bought it) and the palm sales person could`t help me out, so I had to call argentina I guess and they solve the problem but it cost me an international phone call. What's not to like

    By Anthony C  Jul 1, 2006

Pros: Compact form with expandable screen, rich with features (MP3 player, voice recorder, bright/vivid screen),

Cons: Suboptimal battery life, battery is not user replaceable, no Wi-Fi

This is my workhorse.I use it daily for both home and work. I keep photo albums on it, favorite songs, games to keep me entertained when I waiting in line or I'm on hold. It contains reference text books, calculators, and medical journals for the... office and hospital. And with iSilo and Avantgo I keep up wih current events. The simple style and user interface of Palm OS makes it easy to use. I don't regret ever getting it. Read more Less

    Nice but flawed

    By ThinkHammer  May 3, 2006

    Pros: Great screen, very portable

Cons: Slider wears out, digitizer's gone wild

I've owned many models of Palm as they have evolved. This one is the best I have owned overall, but the digitizer failure is maddening. I have tried to fix, I have looked at support forums, Still the digitizer is not consistent across the whole ...screen and gives different results when the slider is open or closed. This makes using Graffitti almost impossible as the letters can not be drawn in the screen area. Read more Less
