    I'd be lost without it

Pros: It's fun to use so you remember to use it!

Cons: You have to remember to bring it with you

I was concerned that I wouldn't use my palm pilot at first, I was devoted to my date book. But the E2 is soooo fun to use that it makes it easy to remember to check, because you look for any excuse to pull it out and start entering in dates! I lo...ve reminder features, I also love the reoccuring event feature, saves time if you have monthly meetings. Like I said, I don't know how I got along without it. Read more Less

Pros: Sleek & Attractive, Impressive color screen

    Cons: Unreliable, Horrid customer service.

I've been using a Palm M500 since it first came out. Even though it is now heavily outdated, it's incredibly reliable! When I started my company I decided I needed more dings & whistles and sense my M500 had been so good to me, I decided to p...urchase another Palm product. The Tungsten was my choice. Within 1 week of having it, it wouldn't turn on for me on 2 occasions. Though I let it charge sufficiently, I figured it was just a glitch and decided to ignore it. Then, one day it totally crashed on me! EVERYTHING WAS GONE! Phone numbers, addressess, files, notes, EVERYTHING. So I sent it back and am waiting for my Blackberry. Customer Service: It would be nice to speak with CSR's whos first language is English. Incredibly furstrating when half of the conversation is "Wud you say?". Additionally, the US call center representatives are more interested in pawning you off to someone else rather than helping you with your problem. Read more Less

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 25, 2005 | 4 out of 4 found this Palm Tungsten E2 review helpful

Pros: Easy to use, good for beginner, bright screen, batt life

Cons: Smallish Screen, Higher Price when not on sale, internal battery

Purchased this Tungsten E2 for my wife. She loves it! She is a beginner PDA user, but it has everything she needs to stay organized. Packed with to do lists, contacts, note pad, calculator, mobile word/excel, others. Long battery life. Great to stay ...organized! Metal case is a big plus, doesn't feel cheap like other plastic PDA's. Read more Less

    Pros: Units looked nice.

Cons: Will not synch with Outlook Express

I have purchased two of these and neither could be made to hot sync with Outlook Express calander and contacts. I had my company's s/w gurus work on this over 20 hrs. and nothing! The first Tungsten E2 had a bad cable with sync button and I was a...dvised to return it and did. The second in going back tomorrow. For this one, the sync button worked, but the s/w gurus could not get it to sync no matter what they tried. The units themselves both worked. This is ridiculous. ralphba Read more Less

    Pros: WiFi capable

    Cons: support

After only owning this product for 4 months, it stopped working. To repair it would cost $145 (you can buy it for almost this price on the net). I would recommmend buying a long warranty, if you plan to buy this product.

    More than I expected

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jan 2, 2006 | 2 out of 2 found this Palm Tungsten E2 review helpful

Pros: Bright Screen -- Lots of Features

Cons: No Wifi Included -- Must put music on SD card to listen to it

I got the Tungsten E2 for Christmas and I was very satisfied with it. It comes with a cover the flips from the left side, which you can flip to the backside. That however covers the speaker on the back which results to muffleing the sound. It isnt th...at big of a deal though. You have to get an SD card to listen to Mp3 files, but this isnt bad because you should get more space so to allow you to add videos too. Videos play back with pretty good quality and the screen is vibrant with lots of colors. This PDA also has real good battery life too so overall I think this is a great product for anyone starting out on Palms or somone who wants to upgrade. Read more Less

    Tungsten E PDA Best Value

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jul 8, 2006 | 3 out of 5 found this Palm Tungsten E2 review helpful

Pros: Lots of space for downloading

Cons: often sells out on various websites

I am going to upgrade soon to the E2, but I have had the Tungsten E for 2 years, and I am very pleased with it. I have had no problems downloading photos, files, or anything else that I needed onto my Tungsten. I would recommend to anyone that is loo...king for a good value, easy to use PDA. It is very simple to navigate, and not hard to learn at all. Two big thumbs up! Read more Less

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 28, 2005 | 2 out of 3 found this Palm Tungsten E2 review helpful

    Pros: Great features!

    Cons: Broke on day 2

This is my SECOND trial with Palm. I love the features on this PDA. Too bad the workmanship is terrible. Just like my previous Palm PDA, it broke within a week! NO excuses for such terrible quality.

    Oh how I loved it!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Jul 31, 2008 | 1 out of 1 found this Palm Tungsten E2 review helpful

Pros: Bright display, easy to use, compact, Documents To Go

    Cons: Short lifespan

Before it died, that is.... After graduating from high school and beginning on the road to college in 2006, I originally bought the Tungsten E2 as a cheaper and easier alternative to a laptop. I bought it in June 2006. I bought a PalmOne universal k...eyboard and used it to type notes and papers on my trusty little sidekick. I loved my little Tungsten; I hot synced it almost every day, always made sure it was charged, planned my days on it, loaded mini games on it, played music from it, and even bought a cute little hard cover to protect it! It traveled with me everywhere. Documents To Go had to have been the best program I had ever encountered, and even to this day, I am impressed. Here I was able to write my papers, stories, notes, read Adobe PDFs, etc. and transfer them from computer to Tungsten and vice versa. It was awesome, and I was very pleased. Not only was it a magnificent help with my studies, it also helped me with my organization. It was quite easy to get on the desktop here, and plan out my schedule on palmOne's Palm Desktop program. After I was finished, I would simply hot sync my little Tungsten, and I would have an up to date schedule for the day, week, month, year(s)! However, in my second year of college of 2007, I decided to give my Tungsten a break as I had misplaced the charger during a cleaning spree. The last time I pulled it out was in January of 2008, when I wanted to check out the birthdays I had programmed in. It had worked just fine, but I knew needed to find the charger. In May of 2008, I find the charger and am plugging it into my little Tungsten only to find it will not turn on! I repeatedly hit reset; I recurrently hit on/off all to no avail. For my little sidekick is gone...gone forever. I realized my 1988 Nintendo Gameboy lasted longer than it. I guess I could easily say it served its purpose, no matter how much I miss it.
