Pros: User Friendly, Great Battery, Tons of Memory

Cons: Screen Damages Easily, Software Compatability

I bought a Tungsten C about four months ago, and it was possibly my best electonic purchase ever. This is a leap ahead of the other PDAs I tried out, and I recommend it to anyone who spends a great deal of time in a WI-FI environment. The cons are ...that the screen is sensitive (I broke the first one, and had to use the store replacement plan, which I HIGHLY recommend), and much of the software available at Palm was not yet compatable with the Tungsten C. This brought me back from Pocket PC. Wi-fi is great, speed is outstanding, the screen is better than any other Palm or PPC, system is extremely stable compared to PPC. I've even gotten used to the keyboard.A great PDA, although I wish it would ...have a stereo speaker. Read more Less

Pros: lots of installed memory

Cons: no mp3, voice recorder not good quality

I use this pda everyday for my medical profession. It is a consistent performer with plenty of options for expansion. However, I am miffed by the lack of stereo and mp3 capabilities. It is mono, and the voice recorder just doesn't perform as w...ell as I need it to. For $500, you would expect these things to be standard. Fix these things, and you have the perfect pda. Wi-Fi is a must have. The speed while using Wi-Fi is great, and the screen is top notch. Read more Less

Great Palm OS PDA

Pros: Great Screen, Massive Memory, Fast, WIFI

Cons: Ships w/ Docs to go 5, when 6 is available.

Compared to other Palm OS PDAs:Great PDA, Surfs web very well. Uses Netfront web viewer (But name is changed for Palm), Netfront is awsome, very fast surfing with DSL/WIFI setup. Palm OS 5 is great, but few new features with PIM applications. I think... this is the best Palm OS PDA available to Date. The 320 x 320 screen is great indoors and out. This unit feels much more solid than the Sony PDAs. This PALM OS PDA is in a class of its own. Now the bad, the price is too high, Palm OS while a rock solid at what it does, still lacks needed features. Compared to Pocket PC / Windows CE Devices:The Palm Tungsten C in my humble opinion outperformes all Pocket PC devices, mainly due to the fact of the underlying OS. The Palm OS PIM applications are the easiest to use and have the best layout of any PDA OS Built in apps available.Compared to Sharp Zaurus/Others (Linux PDAs):This is not a fair comparision of total computing power or hardware features. Mainly due to the fact that the Zaurus runs Linux. But I can compare the PIM applications fairly.The PIM applications that Palm OS offers are definatly the best and a benchmark for all others to compair to. The Sharp Zaurus is more like a Laptop in power, but the Palm OS devices beat it in terms of PDA PIM usability and ease of use. Read more Less

Pros: Wi-Fi 802.11 b works great!!

Cons: Not for music lovers

I researched for weeks which palm to buy that would best fit my work needs, with a little fun too. I chose the Palm Tunc-C after reading here how well revceived it was. I am SO happy with the Tung-C. I have no problem connecting to my wireless networ...k, uploading is as easy as pie. It has wonderful color in the screen and views photos really well. Playing Solitaire is no problem with the size of the screen. It is so easy to synchronize my pda and pc together. Viewing and editing documents was more functionable than I expected, as was writing with the stylus. I can recommend the Palm TC to anyone who wants the perfect productivity tool for home and work. Oh and the 802.11 b Wi-Fi makes it so easy for the business traveller. Read more Less

Pros: I like Palm products, Palm OS -- really

Cons: if you buy Palm, pray you NEVER have to deal with support

So I found a good deal on Palm Tungsten C at a online retailer -- $350, and a Palm $100 rebate. The retailer had a fine print on this product: "There is no refund or exchange for this product; for any problems with this product, please contact ...Palm Customer Service under the 1-year manufacturer's warranty". My internal alert came on a bit, but the price was right so I went ahead with it. Anyway, make the long story short, don't expect a new replacement when you have a problem -- you either get your original unit back (unfixed) or a refurbished unit. Read more Less

It's expensive, but a dramtic step-up from my Palm Vx. Great feel to the keyboard. Easy to navigate. Phot album is great.

What a great pda it does everything you need and in a bright easy to use way. Much more stable than pocket pc
