    Pros: Light weight, easy to use, useful features, great help for organization and student life

    Cons: Battery life is short depending on usage

    I owned a Treo 650 for two years and upgraded to this one (Treo 680). I've been used to a Palm Operating System which is very easy to use and to learn to use for first time users. I am a full time student and have have also been a...ctive outside the classroom and with internships. This phone has helped me organize my life, write papers when I do not have my laptop handy and stay in touch with family, peers and important contacts at the same time. The phone&#39
    ;s features that I like the most are: 1) Microsoft Office tools (Word RW*, Excel RW*, PowerPoint R*); 2) portable bluetooth/infrared keyboard for typing those important papers; 3) internet capability (the internet is not the fastest one out there but is still very useful during times when you need to check your email or various info on the net); 4) E-mail (similar to MS Outlook); 5) Multi Media Card (MMC) slot for more memory and I can even download pictures from my camera's MMC card to my phone!; 6) infrared and bluetooth capability which helps when you are trying to save money and would like to send a message or a picture for free (you can transfer pics and messages through infrared and bluetooth at NO COST!); 7) touch screen for even easier use; 8) can be easily SYNCed on your PC or Laptop to get even more organized! There are many more things I love about this phone. It has certainly helped me stay afloat as a student, a daughter, a friend, a sister and as an employee. It is cheap and it serves the purpose. Don't be fooled by other smart phones that may look better but do not have important features that this Treo 680 has. Just remember to buy that extra battery or a car charger just in case you are running out of battery life. This may be a con but it is a con that you can work with.     Pros: works well w/T-mobile,Display is great, sound very clear

    Cons: Battery,slippery case to hold ,VGA camera

    Bought Treo 680 at Palm $400.00 Unlocked,great phone PDA ,free 1gig card, music software ,headphone,shipping.I love this phone, use a Treo 600 before, great upgrade ,transfered everything perfect.Battery could be better but just a little tinkering an...d had better battery life , camera is obsolete.     Pros: Ease of use, features, no external antenna

    Cons: short battery life

    Awesome phone. Does everything and more of what I want it to do. Send email, text, browse web, phone, planner, open, escel, word, pdf files and more! Browser is good, I have read reviews that say its slow - works great for me. Go and download Google ...maps - awesome feature to have in the car or on a trip and need directions. Also, if your are in a situation like I was in, where you are not eligible for an upgrade and have to pay full price for the phone - DON'T!!! Go to Palm or eBay and buy and unlocked version. Pop in SIM card, call your provider and add a data plan and you're set! Camera has got only adequate reviews - I feel it is great for a camera phone. If your gonna shoot pics that require GREAT quality - use a real camera - duh! Read more Less

    Pros: User friendly

    Cons: Battery life and lock ups have to be fixed.

    Over all, this is a great phone. I love the treo and will get the next model when my contract is up. The lock ups are starting to get on my nerve, but that and the battery life is the only problem with the phone. Oh, and the camera could be better... but I understand that is fixed in the next model.     Pros: Ease of use and style.

    Cons: Battery life and lock ups.

    My wife and I have both recently upgraded our mobiles to the Palm 680.Overall we both are very happy with the 680. The styling and controls are great as well as having an on board help is Great. The only down sides that we have found is the battery l...ife (which is horrible)and the lock ups. We did read in the help tools on the 680 that Palm recommends to charge every night. No Problem. The lock ups are annoying as well, but easily fixable with a soft reboot. Read more Less

    Pros: the screen is big and its very clear on a bright day. the ringing tone very clear and loud.

    Cons: u need to charge the battery everyday

    Pros: nice phone, easy use

    Cons: battery, while online freezes till whole page downloads

    well i have been wanting a treo for quite sometime and decided to wait to get one since cingular told me they would be carrying this next year. but to my surprise they came out early and it was the only thing on my wish list(thanks to wife for this g...ift). i am still learning(its my first pda) the ins and outs and so far i really like it. only problem i have with it is the battery runs out by the end of the night on some days and that it has frozen on me once already while i was trying ti access a webpage. but after like 30 seconds it starting doing everything i asked it to while it was frozen so maybe it was just too much on that page ofr it to handle and it hasnt happened again since. i would still highly recommend this as a first pda.     Pros: Palm OS5, QWERTY keyboard, No program hangs

    Cons: Battery life, Lack of features compared to the Windows Mobile 5.0

    Palm has always created a phone with the power user and average user in mind. This phone is very powerful and handy. From making a phone call to creating a powerpoint presentation and sending it via e-maail, it can do everything that you need it to d...o. The primary draw back would be the battery life. Do not get me wrong, all smart phones have a shorter battery life, but this one is the worst. I used to own a Cingular 8525 and it lasted longer with average use then this phone. Also the Treo 680 lacks the features that Windows mobile 5.0 has. If you want to get an additional feature, you must pay for it via third party website. Aside from the battery problem and the OS being stripped down, it is a VERY solid phone and well worth the money. I would highly recommend this phone for anyone that is new to smart phones.     Pros: this phone does it all. there is no antana that helps with storing in your pocket. The 680 is also slightly thiner and a bit lighter then other treo's.

    Cons: the battery life isnt the best but that is what a car charger is for.

    This phone is hands down the best phone i have ever had and i have had alot of them. I have had this phone for about six months.I have had no problems with this phone in fact i have not droped a single call with this phone. The great thing is if ther...e is somthing that the phone does not do out of the box most likely there is a program that will do what ever it is that you want it to do.     Speakers are bad on the 680

    Pros: love the palms

    Cons: person cannot hear u

    problem with speakers, know to palm to be a hardware problem but no fix yet. Buy at you own risk...love the phone but if the other party cannot hear from you then they are useless.
