The same goes for design. Pick it up and you'll notice a large color touch screen and an easy-type keyboard. Since the Treo 680 is just the right size, you have the freedom to take it anywhere and still be connected to friends, work, and family. Of course, there's also something called an "off" button, for when you don't want to be connected at all.

    I love this phone. Stylish and powerful. The phone is non geeky and easy to use form the start. Blackberrys require lots of off line sync. this phone works well on the fly. Best phone you can buy today, cutting edge.

    Pros: updated conveniences

    Cons: sometimes slow to respond

    I started with a Handspring Platinum Visor about 6 years ago. When the phones came out I started with a Treo 600 for about 6 months and upgraded to the 650 which I used for about 2.5 years. I loved that phone over BB because it is truly more of a pho...ne than e-mail device. Evidently, the 680 is the Palm OS equivalent of the w750. I recently upgraded to the Cingular 680 because I didn't want the windows OS. This phone has several tweaks to the software of the phone which make it even better than before. example: when you receive a call you have three choices - 1. answer 2. ignore 3. ignore and send a text response! Seemingly small but saves a few keystrokes in meetings. the search function through the contacts is visually better and more intuitive. I also use this for my TomTom Navigator...a great program with a greatest of smartphones. Read more Less
