    Uncredited anywhere but in the booklet, this UNESCO collection consists of four performances by the Sabri Brothers. The opening piece is an allegory in ghazal form (a light classical poetic form) on, as Alain DaniƩlou's notes put it, "the emotions of love and the transitory aspects of the world." Amen apart from pointing out that qawal is an alternative spelling.

The Sabri Brothers, Haji Ghulam Farid (or Fareed) Sabri (1930-1994) and Haji Maqbool Ahmed Sabri (also born in Kalyana in East Punjab, on October 12, 1945), they were taught music by their father, Ustad Haji Inayat Sen Sabri.
