ethereal celtic music, perfect chill-out album!

I've always really liked Enya and Clannad, and this is one of my favorite albums. It's great for relaxing and unwinding after a long day - or for times of reflection. Great music!

I'm a music lover and my favorite genre is New Age. New Age is a music enducing serenity, its a style of instrumental music with repetitive of melodies. Often synthesized or reproducing natural sounds, that is intended to promote mental tranquility. My favorite new age artist is Enya. This is her famous album, a compilation of her best songs. Her music is soothing to the ears. Its good for relaxing, reminiscing the past, daydreaming, recollecting and to sentiment. Highly recommended.

In the words of Natalie Merchant, Enya's music will leave you "mesmerized, hypnotized..." Beautiful, unique - a change from today's hiphop, bubblegum, pseudocountry, unjazz jazz. For people who enjoy listening to reflective music once in awhile. Worth every cent and more!

Enya is a one of a kind. I am a prod from N. Ireland and I love this C.D. I even like the Irish songs on it. I do not understand a thing she is saying, it still sounds good.

This is the music that calms my life. I can always count on Enya's music to be beautiful, comforting and exhilerating all at once. I had all of her albums up to this one and all but one were stolen, so I was surprised with this one for Christmas and consider it to be one of my best gifts.

I am not usually a fan of greatest hits albums because in most part they are collections of songs that were previously released either with the intent of the artist, or the intent of the record company, meaning that many of the artist's best songs are the "other" cuts on the album. In Enya's case, it is very hard to distinhuish between what was released and what should have been released. And with 2 extra tracks, this particular collection is one that I had to have (of course..you could buy a multi-CD player and put all her CDs in).

Enya is my favorite singer and I think she is the most beutiful celebrities. Every sing of she make me feel like in deep water or like I fly. I want to wish her all the best and a long and beutiful life.

It's one of those types of songs that makes you want to do something wonderful. The words are a bit hard to understand sometimes, but after listening to it for a while you can.

O.K. let's start off with the good side of this. Much of my favorite material by Enya is collected on this CD. My favorites are 'Orinoco Flow' Anywhere Is, Only If, The Celts, Storms In Africa, And Boadicea. However the problems with this album were first it did not include Smaointe which is my all time favorite song by Enya and second it shortens some of here songs, one thing I loathe in CDs. But still this is a marvelous album. I can't wait for her next album!
