Houston's Pain Teens use distorted guitars and fractured tape loops to mask their jazz and rock rhythms. Bliss Blood's vocals rely heavily on morbid and sexual themes. The quartet, also including guitarist and effects-man Scott Ayers, bassist Kirk Carr and drummer Frank Garymartin, has released several albums on Trance Syndicate, including Born in Blood, Stimulation Festival, and Destroy Me Lover.
