Pailhead was a side project for Ministry's Al Jourgensen and Paul Barker and Fugazi/ex-Minor Threat vocalist Ian MacKaye; predictably, the group's music was an ambitious attempt to fuse industrial and hardcore. Pailhead issued the single "I Will Refuse" in 1988, which was included on the EP Trait later that year. However, the group's industrial/hardcore fusion was never fully explored after that; Jourgensen and Barker would later undertake a similar project with Dead Kennedys frontman Jello...
