    it's alright

most of the songs here were ok, but others were way to lame. The songs i really enjoyed were " Beautiful " and " Batman & Robin". Snoop dogg is a great rapper but not as good as 2pac,Biggie, Dr. Dre and Xzibit.

    Good Album!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 6, 2002

I'm Snoop Dogg's biggest fan and I have followed him since 'Deep Cover' came out. He never really fell off, he just got side tracked. He also mellowed out his style. "Batman & Robin" might be one of the best Snoop songs ever, thats probably because P...remo produced it. Snoops' albums get more diverse ever time he drops. I heard him say in an interview that he was trying to bring the fun back into hip hop like Kurtis Blow and Run DmC did. There are many party tracks on here. That might be one of the only flaws. "Pimp Slapp'd" is a great song aimed at Suge Knight. I hope Snoop plans on dropping a new Lady of Rage album because she ripped "Batman & Robin". I wasn't really feelin' "Lolipop" with Jay Z. I like about 12 or 13 tracks on Paid The Cost To Be The Boss. Another thing I would've liked to seen production by Dr.Dre and he should've let E Swift do whole song instead of and interlude or at least played that slick instrumental(The Boss Would Like To See You). Another tight song is "Beautiful" for all you laid back heads. I still think Snoop has some good material awaiting on a future solo album. People slept on the Doggystyle Allstars compilation too. This album is better than Jay Z over rated 'Blueprint 2'. I wonder what the Source Magazine will give him on this one. Snoop Dogg is the man, respect him. Read more Less

why is he dissing kurupt and xzibit ???+

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Dec 4, 2002

well homie im not sure what he has against xzibit, but i know snoop cant handle him lyrically !! but the reason why he dissed kurupt is because he signed with suge instead of snoop !! but it basic mathematics snoop dont have half the $$$ that suge ha...s so kurupt did the smart thing, and if you wanna get technical about it snoop cant handle kurupt either. snoop just thinks he's king rip right now and that may be the very thing thats gonna get his cap peeled !! if you know what i mean !! Snoop Dogg RIPS IT - PURE DL

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Nov 27, 2002

Most Gangster Cd: Snoop is the King of G-Funk. Greatest beats in tracks like "Lollipop" featuring Jay-Z (another one of da greatest) and "Beautiful. Favourite track has got to be "From the Chuuuch to the Palace" The lack of an appearance by Dr. Dre w...ould be the only thing that one could complain about. Read more Less
