Pacifika
Latininfluenced Canadian rock ensemble Pacifika makes deeply emotional, melodic pop that mixes in a variety of styles including electric rock, bossa nova, folk and some electronic flourishes. Showcasing Peruvianborn, former West End Girl lead singer Silvana Kane's knack for heartfelt vocals in Spanish and English, the Vancouverbased band also features guitarist Adam Popowitz, bassist Toby Peter and percussionist Elliot Polsky. Pacifika released its debut album Asunción on Waterpark in 2007....
