In Pac 'n Roll, players use the DS stylus and touchscreen to guide a rolling PacMan as he moves through the dangers of GhostLand on a quest to save his family and friends. Progress through the 3D platform levels is displayed in the top screen, but players control PacMan's speed and direction by poking and dragging on a large, cartoonish image of him that appears in the bottom screen.

This handson control scheme is designed to offer immediate, precise manipulation of the rolling hero, so players will be challenged to make tricky twists, quick stops, and hairpin turns in order to collect pellets and deal with enemy ghosts.
