    I recently just saw the movie and it is really good. It really tells a good story of Anne Douglas' life after her divorce. Watching the movie made me feel like it was really happening in my own life and the acting made the characters quide you throug...h the story. What really made me mad was why didn't Anne just tell the truth to the cops? I know Scott was the baby's dad, but she had to save her life from her drunk husband. Yet, she loved him, and wanted to be with someone, but when you're getting abused like she did, desperate times call for desperate measures. This movie has entered my top 15 of all time.     It was interesting to see this dysfunctional family situation unfold. I felt very sad for the older daughter in her role as "rescuer." As I watched the movie, I felt that there was more to the story than we were being told. For one thing, why wou...ld a mentally healthy, lovely and wealthy woman marry someone so different from her in age and social background? Another thing is: What really went on with her lawyers, trustees, parents and other advisers? Will we ever know? Read more Less
