    Don't Buy Oster Blender model 4242

    Pros: None

    Cons: A Lot!

    I bought this model in February of 2008 and the drive shaft broke in July. Because it was more than 60 days old I had to go through the manufacturer. When I talked to them, they said that model was made in 1991! No WONDER it broke! It was sittting in... storage for 17 years! Why are they allowed to sell such an old product? Sunbeam, who is the manufacturer, required me to send the electrical prong and the receipt to verify it was the model I said it was. After 7 weeks I still have not received a refund. Read more Less
