About Orcustus
Yet another Norwegian black metal supergroup, Orcustus was formed in the city of Bergen (where else?) by vocalist/guitarist Taipan (of Amok, Taake, and other groups), guitarists/bassists Tormentor and Infernus (both from Gorgoroth) and drummer Dirge Rep (of Gorgoroth, Enslaved, Aura Noir, etc., etc.). Beginning with their 2002 demo, which was limited to 1,000 copies before being reissued on vinyl by Southern Lord, the group quickly ingratiated itself with both the trve' black metal faithful...
