OneRepublic is part of the postColdplay wave of bands featuring prominent piano and sensitiveguy vocals in front of U2inspired anthemic rock songs. Formed in 2004 in Colorado Springs, Colorado by singer, pianist and guitarist Ryan Tedder and lead guitarist Zach Filkins, OneRepublic quickly moved to Los Angeles. Adding keyboardist Drew Brown, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle and drummer Eddie Fisher, OneRepublic signed with Sony BMG's Columbia label, but left the imprint for undisclosed reasons...
