One Fine Day (1996)

A Good Feel Movie.

Pros: Witty dialogue, good acting

Cons: slightly predictable plot;

Simply loved the movie. Despite of the fact that it's not the most thought-provoking or deepest movie out there. Yet, I found myself drawn to that irresistible quality of innocence it depicted -- it's like one of the old movies. Basically, it... takes the old formula of "mutual hate turns into love", and it renders it into something charming. Meaning that the story could have easily have taken that route that numerous romantic comedies do: make the characters fall without any plausible explanation. The two main characters actually grow to like one another, after spending a chaotic day trying to take care of their jobs and children. Due to sharing similar disappointments, they can relate to each other. That's why the movie's story comes across as sweet and slightly touching. Read more Less
