Pros: take care of this cam. coz it is senstv
Cons: nothing to say
i like this camera, the way it taken my previous pictures was so good, but this past days the cam. have a problem. my lens has become blurred worst!! my zoom is coming in and out and the screen became blue and poof error!! i can see my previous picture but i can't take another photo. so sorry for my comments but this is true i have sleepless night because of this camera can anybody offer me a help? I'm from Phil. and there's no place in here that can fix this cam i want to cry so loud cause this prob. can't be solved by me, it needed a technician but where can i get one?
Pros: good and has quality products.
Cons: a bit complicated needs a manual to operrate well.
I strongly need it.
Pros: Portability, battery life
Cons: Picture quality
This camera is great for travel. Easy to slip into my pocket and have with me at all times. The battery life is quite good too considering there is no optical view finder. A charge seems to last all weekend with heavy use, including flash use. The pictures do not seem as consistently clear as my Fuji. Clearly the optics are not in the same league, but it is far more usable in terms of portability. I am glad I bought it.
Pros: Screen, pic quality, style, size, price
Cons: None so far!
This camera is SO COOOOLL!!!!!!! I love it. I just bought it about a week ago, and there is not one thing I don't like about it. It was only $209, which I think is pretty good for a camera like this. The pictures are really good! Sometimes they get blurry, but I guess thats why the anti-shake setting is on there! Pictures look best when they are taken outside, but I guess thats true with all cameras. But one feature I do like is the "Available Light" setting, because it takes really good bright indoor pictures without even using the flash, so they come out really good. And of course, this camera looks really awesome. It is so tiny, I can carry it around everywhere.
Overall, this camera is amazing, and if you need a new camera, and want something that looks cool, takes great pics, and has a good price, get this.
Pros: all-weather, size
Cons: Picture Quality
The camera seems fairly durable and is relatively easy to use, but the picture quality is very poor. My previous camera was a Sony DSC-T5 and the picture quality was a world ahead of what you get from the Olympus. Regardless of the megapixel setting the pictures are visually grainy inidicating poor lens quality.
Pros: stylish, features, all weather, 2.5 lcd
Cons: battery life / chargin battery time.
I like to walk around with this camera, i am no pro but i like taking pictures, pictures are fine, not great but for my use, they are fine! the only thing i dont like is battery life...the camera drains the battery in no time! another thing is the time it takes to charge the battery and you also have to remove the battery to charge it and if you let the camera stand without the baterry for about 24 hours you will loose your time and date...you have to set them back again no big deal!
Pros: Very fast 'snap' of image, BIG screen, little sized camera-classy style, quality of photos!, GREAT macro &supermacro settings, great self-portrait option too, battery life not too bad
Cons: Hard to see screen on bright day, no cropping on camera
This was my very first digital camera- I was very fond of my little Olympus Mju/ Stylus (different name same model from 1999)- so it was a big thing to look at digital- and do I stay with Olympus or get sucked inot the 'canon' vaccum- like so many other people??? WELL I am sooooooo glad I stuck with the proven name of Olympus- I have the same lens as I had in my old one- and the MANY benefits of digital! Im a real convert (this camera made it an EASY transition!)- its been SO easy to use! Small enough to take whereever I go- and very sturdy- easy to keep (scratchresistant) screen clean! I brought the camera on appro- but COULDN"T go without it after just one week.
It takes great pictures- impressive on macro and then has supermacro setting as well to choose from!! And none of that nasty 'icey/ 3Dimensional/cut-out' look some digital cameras seem to have- espically seen on people a t times. It was very important to me that the camera take photos quickly- so as to miss no moments. Also the 'lag' between being able to take pitures isn't too bad either. I am really quite pleased with the battery life- takes 4-5 hours to charge I think - and goes a suitable amount when I take pletny of pictures- flash use makes a big difference. It captures movement CLEARLY even on portrait setting! had NO blurry pictures yet! Great little musically enhanced 'slideshow' option too. Impresses everyone with my photos- mainly of landscape, closups, and people. ONLY thing it doesn't do is cropping in camera- but Im sure the great support programme disc it comes with would allow that- my computer is too oldfashioned to use this! Great forgiving to a beginner I think. Its a quality point-and-shot- with a decent zoom too.
My advice- spend what you have to to get what you want- and this camera is WELL WORTH IT! (Though a cool $649.00 in New Zealand!!!!!)
Pros: Compact, many features, large LCD
Cons: Some problems with included software
I received the 710 as a gift and overall am very pleased. Being used to using SLRs the small size was initially off putting. I felt like I would drop it if I wasn't careful. Now the wrist strap is always around my wrist and the small size is convenient to carry anywhere. It has many different shooting modes: portrait, landscape, behind glass, etc. I never had any problems with image quality but then almost every pic I take is at the highest resolution. You never know when you'll want to enlarge something in the background. I was very pleased with the printed final picture also. The only annoying problem I've had is with the software that comes with the Stylus 710. I went ahead and paid the extra 20 bucks or something for the extra features. You can do regular panoramas with the basic software but in the extra you can do things like free stitch panorama, movie editing, slide shows and some other things. If you are doing an expecially large free stitch panorama make sure you have plenty of RAM. More than once I crashed the software using too many pictures. Also, I never could get the back up feature to work. I would try to put my photos on cdrom and it would tell me I didn't have a readable drive or something. I emailed tech support and they just told me to use the burning software that would've come with my computer. That fixed that problem. I also had trouble with saving pics after I had edited them with the camera software(contrast, saturation, etc.). Sometimes I would finish and save the pic over the original and come back and find the file no longer existed. I learned the hard way to save as another file name. Overall, a very good camera with many features in a very compact size.
Pros: compact, lots of options, large screen, cute
Cons: horrible picture quality
This camera has horrible picture quality. Ridiculously grainy and it shows on the actual developed picture, not just on the screen. In the pictures, people look fake and the colors are mixed & unclear... I definitely dont recommend...
This is my first experience with Olympus and i will never get another one bc of this camera... bleh... waste of money...
Pros: Looks & style
Cons: Poor picture quality
I love it when I looked at it. However, performance was wayshort. Picture quality is not clear. Lacks view finder. Had picture being slight better I would have kept it & recommended it big time.
