    Pros: Small, lightweight, scene/guide selector wonderful help

    Cons: very sensitive to movement with slow shutter speed; Some noise is noticiable when using low-light situations

    I have only had this camera for 3 weeks, but I really like it. I had an Olympus C2100UZ prior to this camera. The SP560 is very easy to use. It is small and lightweight but feels like you have control when shooting. The scene and guide selectors are ...very helpful and quick. Full manual operation is also available. The camera remembers the settings so you don't have to reset the camera after you shoot a photo. The toggle between shooting mode and photo review mode is easy and quick. The 18X zoom is very smooth and not as noisy as my C2100. The one thing that I don't like about the SP560 is the sensitivity to any movement during low-light shooting. You really need a tripod or something that you can use to steady the camera when shooting in low-light (available light/candlelight/night). All in all I am very pleased with the Olympus SP560. It is a great camera and a wonderful value for the price. Read more Less

    Pros: 18X ! Stabilization Works !

    Cons: Non Yet; I don't look at my photos with a microscope

    First time I spent over $300 for a digital camera and I would have been satisfied had I spent $500. 18X is awesome; it's smooth and responsive. The stabilization is magic; many times saving a picture when I KNOW I moved (esp 1/2 sec HAND HELD sho...ts). Travel a lot and my wife wants one one now too. Can take photos I would have never tried before. i'm sold. Read more Less
