    Great pictures and super lightweight

    Pros: Sharp Screen, Awesome Pictures, Great Lighting, Easy operations

    Cons: Case feels cheap, video quality not great

    I got this camera as a birthday gift from my girlfriend, we went together to choose the camera, money wasn't an object. However, I wanted both a high resolution camera with fast shutter speeds, a great flash, and a camera that takes crystal sharp... pictures. After looking through the 20 or so different model of cameras and testing them, I finally decided on the IR-300. The white pearl metallic magnesium case looks stylish, the screen is crystal clear and it has 19 shooting modes to make your pictures perfect. It came down to the Sony 7.2mp Cybershot or this one and since I owned a Sony camera before, their LCDs are known to not withstand small impacts. Olympus is a well known camera brand that keeps their talents on cameras so I was really sure of their quality and construction. Well after buying it, I couldn't stop using it and taking it wherever I went.     Pros: So many; light weight, turns on quick, great pix, movie mode, ease of use, cost.

    Cons: Worried about the plastic mode switch...but have had no problems.

    I am a comparison shopper and looked around before I bought this camera. With the 2 inch lcd I can view and either delete keep the pictures. I can even see the lcd in the sunlight (I need to put some shade on it, but it works). Even in digital zoom m...ode the pix come out good. With a 256 mb memory card, I can take 210 pictures at 5 mp.
