    My experience with Olympus FE-200

    Pros: Zoom features, different modes

    Cons: material quality & support needs improvement

    I bought one a year ago, sold at P17,000 which came with a free jacket, 128 memory and a creative mp3 player. A nice bargain, i thought. I was satisfied with its features, but i found out that the lcd is too sensitive, i had it replaced which cost me... an additional P6,000. And the finish easily gave way to rust/stains. Also, the battery terminals lose contact I had to insert a thin sheet just to power it on. So my advice to everyone: be careful not to let the lcd get in contact with anything hard (or when pressure comes in contact). Read more Less

The FE-series, launched with three models in late 2005, emphasises competitive pricing and ease of use in a compact body. One of four new additions to the line a year later, the Olympus FE-200, features an Olympus-branded f3.3 - f4.8, 5x optical zoom lens with a useful 28mm wide angle.
