Based on the concept of D-400 Zoom series - one of the fastest-growing camera lines today - the D-460 Zoom improves on earlier models, with even more of the convenient features and high level of imaging excellence that has made them so popular. Housed in a compact and stylish metallic silver body, it offers a 1.31 million pixel resolution CCD with a 3x optical/2x digital telephoto zoom lens - for photo-quality results and the ability to get the shot you want, just like a high-quality point and shoot zoom film camera. Designed with the consumer in mind, the D-460 Zoom features a number improvements over previous models, including easier-to-use controls and function buttons, new Olympus Lithium LB-01 batteries for longer life, and a wider range of image compression modes. Standard features include a 6-mode pop-up intelligent flash, customizable advanced-level settings, easy-viewing with its 1.8" color LCD monitor, burst mode shooting, and autofocus - all you need to take your digital photography a step further. Display modes include: One frame, Slide-show mode, Index-display mode (4/9/16 frames), close-up display, file-name. Sequence mode takes up to 6 to 10 sequential pictures at 2 frames per second (SQ mode only).
