    Pros: all pros

I think Ronnie Mcdonald sounds like a young Elvis. He ranks up there with all the greats like Elvis and conway twitty.

  • All Music Guide

McDowell fell into this "clone" thing for a couple of years where he remade his own hits; and all three soundalikes ("Older Women," "Wandering Eyes," "Watchin' Girls Go By") are curiously placed back-to-back. His later material is the most emotive, especially "I Dream of Women like You," "In a New York Minute," and "Love Talks," recorded with Exile.
