    This is a Great Film!

    I fear that many moviegoers today will see this film as primitive and simplistic, but there is depth here. Lon Chaney Jr. was never a great actor but was perfect in this role. I found this film to be moving and poignant. Burgess Meredith is totall...y believable in his role as protector and benefactor to his idiot cousin. Read more Less
