Hexplore is set in the year 1000A.D. The Grand Master of Black Magicians, Garkham, is seeking the Book of Hexplore. It is believed that the book lies somewhere in the Garden of Eden, also the place of the Divine Power. He who finds the book will possess an enormous amount of power.

Hexplore is set in the year 1000A.D. The Grand Master of Black Magicians, Garkham, is seeking the Book of Hexplore. It is believed that the book lies somewhere in the Garden of Eden, also the place of the Divine Power. He who finds the book will possess an enormous amount of power.

In this time of magic and lost treasures four heroes have joined together in an attempt to stop Garkham. You begin as the adventurer Mac Bride. During the first chapter you will need to choose three other characters who will take part in this adventure. There are 12 characters to select from: 4 archers, 4 warriors, and 4 magicians. Other than their classes each character has its own origin and special attributes.

Take your four characters, or play with three others via a modem, through an environment with a 360 degree view. Explore more than 200 maps in the adventure known as Hexplore. ~ Jonathan Sutyak, All Game Guide
