    Pros: Pure Sexyness

    Cons: I Love Him!!!

I met Omari five days after my 19th bday which was Feb 25th..It was a dream come true because I've been wanting to meet him every since B2k came out..Omg he is just soo humble soo sweet & he's always been cute 2 me..I loved him when he was in... the group & I love him even more being solo..He has definetly matured from the songs he was singing with Boog, Fizz & Raz to the stuff he's singin now is totally different & I love it all...His whole album is good one song had 2 grow on me & now I can't stop playin it & thats "Touch" which I believe is his next single..A lot of people thought he was gone break after the break up, but I know he has proved a lot of people wrong..His album is number one & if you buy it you'll see why..Even tho I wish the group was still together I am soo glad my fav member/husband (lol) didn't give up he stayed strong & continued with his success..Please go out & support Omari he's da shyt & alwayz will be..Haters quit sayin he can't sing & that he's ugly cause he's doing his thing sooo get off him & stop hatin that just makes him stronger..=)..Copp this album you won't regret it Read more Less

Omarion's career didn't slow down after the breakup of B2K. In addition to playing Reggie in Fat Albert, he went about recording his debut album with an extended cast of producers. As with most other former boy band members gone solo, Omarion makes an attempt to break from his teen pop past by getting as racy and raunchy as possible "I don't mean no disrespect to you, but a ngga really tryin' to fck with you" being one of the least upfront comeons from "Take It Off." (Note: there is no parental advisory label on the album.) The content runs the spectrum of a relationship, though there's lots of courtship going on, carried by the expected assortment of ballads, midtempo grooves, and club tracks. Omarion is most effective when sticking to lighthearted, summery funk like the Kool the Gangtinged "Never Gonna Let You Go (She's a Keepa)" (featuring an outofplace dropby from OutKast's Big Boi), and when he gets heavyweight assistance from the Neptunes ("Touch") and Rodney Jerkins ("Drop Th...at Heater"). Had Omarion been less concerned with street credibility, realizing that it might be better to allow his young fan base to mature along with him, this debut would've been more than satisfactory. - Andy Kellman, All Music Guide Read more Less
