Puerto Rican singer and actress Nydia Caro studied singing, dancing, and acting while living in New York. When her father passed away, Caro moved to Puerto Rico. In 1967, her first album, called Dímelo Tú, was released by Tico. While working in a TV station, Nydia Caro had the opportunity to get a main role in a soap opera called Sombras del Pasado. Singing a Carmen Mercado song called "Hermano Tengo Frio," Caro came in first place at Bogota's Festival, in third place at Benidorm Festival...
