A Drug-Free Psychedelic Trip
Pros: Good Quality and Selection of Titles
Cons: Not enough time in my day to listen
This collection of psychedelic music is just what the doctor ordered in these days of awful pop music done by the pretty people.
Having only heard most of these songs on the AM radio of my youth, I was blown away when I cranked up the CD player in my car. As I understand, the music was re-mastered from the original mono recordings--good move.
The accompanying booklet is chock-full of information, both trivial and useful. This collection is worth every penny for those wishing to travel back to those flower-power, peace-loving/rioting, whacked out days.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoNuggets Rules - !

As the booklet included says, in-between the Frat-Rock of 'Louie Louie' in '63, & the increasing jadedness & pretentiousness of Rock already beginning in the Late 60's -
There was Magick to be discovered, & all was Possibilty & Hope for the Future of Music & Life - w/ just enuff anxiety about the Changing Tymes to make it all Mean Something...
