Synopsis: Now and Then (1995)
Synopis: Four women who have been friends since childhood reunite when one of them is about to give birth. This gives them the chance to reminisce about the summer of 1970, a time when they first experienced puppy love, shared girlish secrets, discussed sex and boys, battled bullies, and attempted to solve a murder mystery. The strong bonds these young women forged back then endured despite the passing years and their different fates. I thought this movie is really kute...I watched it about 10 times. I remember seeing it back in 5th grade and singing along w/ the songs in the movie...oh those great oldies...u just gotta luv 'em. =) It just brings back good childhood memories. It's a fun movie to watch with ur best friends, especially when u sit and analyze to see in which of the 4 characters u are most alike. Christina, Thora, Gaby, and Ashleigh did a really good job in the movie; they made it very believable and realistic in portraying an unbreakable bond of friendship. I think almost every girl can relate to the movie...it's one of the BEST! And yes...Devon Sawa is very kute. =) ...
