Pros: Makes Great Popcorn

At first we were disappointed because directions just said to heat oil first and it wasn't making much popcorn, much of which was burnt. No measurements were given for oil (the popcorn was obvious because 4oz = 1/2 cup). Trial and error, we now h...ave it perfect. The key is the oil. Do NOT heat the oil first, or it burns the seeds before they can pop. Also have to have enough oil to coat the seeds, or they don't heat right and don't pop. Here is the key: Put the canola oil and the seeds in the hopper at the same time. For 1/2 cup seeds, use 3 tablespoons of oil. For 1 cup of seeds (max you can use in the 4 oz and it works), use 1/3 cup canola oil. Enjoy! Read more Less
