    N82 Mobile is OK

By Tony  Apr 20, 2008 | 28 out of 28 found this Nokia N82 review helpful

Pros: Great and really keeps you connected while on the go (which i did test while in Canada/US tour)

Cons: Battery life can be improved further.

I used the N82 moving around Canada/US, from Scarborough, Brampton, ... Niagara, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec, and up to Lewinston, Bufallo (US border) and it worked just fine. Particularly, I was able to use the YAHOO GO! and Y! Messenger Mobile. No dou...bt about the voice, my interest primarily concentrated on working on the WAP applications. Getting access points thru unsecured WLAN kept me connected and available Mobile. My N82 practically became my PC for YM and Email application, even Friendster is available! Well, I should not complain about the FONT and PIC size but the battery life could still be improved further. Recommended to those who really wants Internet on the go. Well, at least for YM and eMail sake. For sure you don't want to do WAP code programming in your phone! Thanks. Read more Less

Nokia clearly doesn't like to mess around. Already in 2007 they've raised the mobile stakes with the N95, made GPS standard cellular fare with the Navigator and thrown in the 8GB toting N81 for good measure Read more

    Nokia N82 Review

On paper the Nokia N82 is very similar to the N95 -- except it's a candybar phone and not a slider. But before you think this is just a redesign, take a second look, because the N82 really surprised us in more ways than one. Read more
