great movie
I love John Ritter in anything, and he excels in this movie. This movie is true to the character's we love to see him play.

Noises off is the phrase said backstage before the curtain raises. We see the final rehearsal for a complicated farse which clearly isnt quite together yet even though the play is opening in 14 hours.
Jump ahead a few weeks. We see the same play, now in production and on the road -- from backstage.
Personalities are becomming a bit more grating on the cast. Onstage they are professionals; backstage they are out for blood.
Can even the director save them?

The play inside the movie is hysterical in itself. However, when the actors personal lives come into play, this movie goes from a 5 to an infinity, in my humble opinion. Perfect comedy in both script and in the actions that take place in a Three-Stooges-Meets-Blues

The play is classic British farce, so I expected the American film version to be disappointing. Not so! Although some of the roles are arguably miscast (Carol Burnett doesn't seem quite as dotty as Dotty should be) the performances are delightful to watch. Christopher Reeve is especialy good as a meek actor in a Superman's body, and John Ritter is over the top. Watch it with a group of friends if possible, and don't forget the sardines!

I laughed so hard I had tears rolling down my face. This movie is hilarious and plot follows the adage "if anything will go wrong, it will" Must see movie for laughs.

This is probably the funniest movie i have ever seen. Every time i watch it i can barley catch my breath from laughing. Brings Murphy's Law to a whole new level everything that can go wrong does along with a slew of other problems...

oh my gosh! we laugh and laugh and laugh everytime we watch this movie! it is soooooooooo funny! "Where is Selsdon?" "I thought I heard my voice!" Crack me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
