Why their latest album didn't blow up

    By Vaunt  Sep 6, 2003

I've liked 702 every since their first album was released and i've continued to purchase all of their other albums too. No Doubt was my favorite album because I like every song on the album but if I was to choose a favorite song off that albu...m it would be Get It Together. Playing this album makes me think of good memories when I was young because my cousins used to play this album all the time. But I don't understand why the latest album didn't do as well as the others. I'm not the only one that said it because a lot more people wanted to know also. STAR is a really tight album and I think it should of done way better than it did. If your a 702 fan and you don't already have this album go get it because I think it's just as good as the rest of them. Continue to do your thing 702. One Love Read more Less

  • All Music Guide

702's fusion of street-oriented rap and urban soul on the group's debut album has a couple of fine moments, most notably the single "Steelo."
