Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden series, which began as an arcade game in 1988, makes its long-awaited transition to 3D as an Xbox exclusive. Players guide master ninja Ryu Hayabusa (who made his Xbox debut as a playable fighter in Dead or Alive 3) through a variety of settings within Japan. Players can fight enemies using a katana, shuriken, and throwing knives, or call upon the power of the ninja arts -- strong magic -- to vanquish foes. Players will also encounter a number of puzzles as they jump, flip, and swing across levels, with many areas requiring stealth tactics.     Pros: the action

    Cons: difficulty

    this is the best game i have ever played, ever. technicly, it looks good. the action is amazing. he has sommany moves and alot of weopons which can be upgraded to be even more powerful. he also has nimpo, which is powers that he has to help him out. ...this is not a game for kids. it is so hard, i wanted to return it a few times(this is usually at boss fight). but after you beat the boss, you get this sense of satisfaction that makes you feel good about yourself. if you have an xbox, get this game. if you dont, suck for you.this game is hard, but it give you a sense of satisfaction that no other game can give you.     Beyond the 20+ hour single-player story, the only extra mode is Master Ninja Tournament, which currently does nothing. Eventually, it will be some sort of online tournament for Xbox Live users, though details are vague at the moment. Read more
