Pros: Amazing image quality, pro level features at a smaller price

Cons: No in-camera focus motor

I am beyond thrilled with this camera. I opted for this camera over the Nikon D90, because you get more new features for less money, without having to sacrifice hardly anything. The articulating screen is a fabulous feature that has come in very usef...ul when taking photos at odd angles. The camera is very easy to use, and very quick to change settings on-the-go, despite the fact that it's missing a top-screen. The only thing that it's missing that the D90 has is an in-camera focus motor, meaning if you want to auto-focus, you have to use lenses that have a focus motor in them. (AF-S or AF-I lenses for Nikon, HSM lenses for Sigma.) I haven't found this to be much of a problem, though, as almost every new lens has this feature, and probably will going forward. The 18-55 lens that comes with the "kit" is a fabulous lens, and I've also supplemented it with the new 35mm f/1.8, which is spectacular.All in all, the images I am able to create with this camera have blown my mind.
