    Pros: Great camera

    Cons: Lenses are not what I expected

    I am shifting to tokina. They are on the heavy side but look very sturdy. I often have to shoot remote locations, so I demand a lot from my camera and lenses, The Nikors that I saw were not as sturdy as I would like them to be, and they were more expensive. But they function great with my Nikon camera. Overall I am very happy with the camera.

    Pros: Great Camera-Awesome

    Cons: Have to take a course to use it

    I have had the d300 for 4 months now. I LOVE IT! Best camera I have owned in 25-plus years. There are so many features on this camera, anybody can use it. Auto focus, auto exposure, 6400 ISO, 8 frames per second! Hard earned money, that was well spent!

    Pros: Image quality, usability, feature rich

    Cons: None

    Awesome piece of hardware w/ super redesigned sensor.

    All necessary buttons and switches are now available at a moments notice and quite intuitive to former Nikon users.
