The D2Xs combines the widely acclaimed 12.4 megapixel CMOS sensor and the outstanding speed and autofocus performance of its predecessor, with advanced image processing and a robust build to put it at the top of its class. Over 20 modifications have been incorporated into the D2Xs including an electronic viewfinder masking system for the 8 fps High Speed Crop mode, a wideangle LCD screen, an Image Trim function and a Black and White mode. A new included accessory, the EN-EL4a lithium-ion battery enables a remarkable 3800 shots between charges.

    Pros: No noise in low light

    Cons: Heavy

    This is my second DSLR and I'm very happy with it. The viewfinder coverage is 100% so its really easy to make photos without crop now (the main reason I bought it). Only problem remaining is the weight. I guess the price is OK for this kind of ca...mera. Read more Less

    The very best DX format Pro-Digital Camera ever made. From a Pro point of view I can say that the Nikon D2xS is a rugged,fast,multi-purpose DSLR. I use it for all shooting situations and never worry about it not working or missing a shot. Very fast s...hutter,Controls are perfect,Fastest focus on the planet with AFS Lenses,I can utilize all of my dozens of oder manual focus lenses and with four shooting info banks you can set the camera to change any group of settings with a push of a button,,,like having four cameras.Very bright focus screen and LCD menu. I think Nikon made the D2Xs with the very busy Pro-Photographer in mind and that is who is using this camera today. Read more Less
