Pros: Wide range of presets
Cons: Low working zoom, lack of manual control
I received a Coolpix as a Christmas present and I have to say that I've been very happy with it as a photography newbie. The presets do a reasonably good job of allowing me to produce a nice pictures. My major complaints are that there are only a... limited number of options that you can manual set during the picture taking process and that the zoom isn't very strong. Otherwise i think it's a great starter camera. Read more Less
