    Pros: Great color capture, lenses are great

    Cons: wifi unecessary, USB plug cover thing gets in the way sometimes

    This camera is great for the price. Terrific macro ability, color capture is great. The scene modes are really handy. Some one JUST getting into photography can use this easily as well as play around with apeture priority. Great Time lapse movie f...eature. Takes a 640x480 pic every 30s,1m,5m,10m,30m,60m and takes up to 1800 (depnding on memory) and then strings them all together into a 30fps Quicktime movie (.mov). But to use that feature you really need the AC adapter and a tripod, essentials anyway. Read more Less

    Pros: great looks,great video quilty

    Cons: need to buy a memory card, nothing really yet

    I got this camera yesterday,for my 17th birth day.i love it it makes great videos.i put a 512 MB memory card in it. i have recorded videos over a hour long and still have about 55 pictures on the camera.i love the wifi buts its not needed. you cant b...eat the quilty of camera for the price.this camera is great for anybody who wants to take pictures.     goooooooood camera!

    Pros: lenses, good colours, easy, complete controls on all the functions, good design, big screen, gr8 features, good quality

    Cons: low shutter speed, WiFi features are useless, short-lasting original battery

    I bought this camera for christmas 2005. it's so great, it has good features and complete controls on them. Good lenses, good colours, good design, Nikon quality. u can set the light of the lens and lots of other things (it's the first compac...t camera I used u can set the light, between f=2.8 and f=7.6). The big problem is that the shutter lag is too long: it's better to push until it stops and make the camera set and hold the button (and all the settings) before taking the picture... but u can't do it every time(especially for spontaneous portraits). oh, and the WiFi feature is the most useless thing ever put on a camera: u have to install the program on the PC before using it, u have to set the camera via-cable, and it's really slow in transferring images (and it swalows a lot of battery). it means that if u are using a different PC than yours, u must carry the cable and the program. but it also means that u don't need WiFi... but it's wonderful camera, anyway!     Greart starter camera for those learning aperture

    Pros: easy to use, color, low light pics are great, ISO, rechargeable battery

    Cons: fireworks scene mode not the best.

    I got this camera in April 2006. I have learned a lot with this camera. I'm now looking to move on to a DSLR and it has made the decision on brand quite clear(I'm going D50). The amazing colors and clarity have made me a new Nikon fan when I ...always bought Canon P&S before. :) I love the apreture priority mode. Some of the scene modes are not the best or it could be error user butI tried the fireworks scene and the shutter is SOOO slow that I couldn't get anything but smudges. BUT in Nikon's defense I didn't use a tripod. NIGHT scene is good though and the Macro is AWESOME. I love the rechargeable battery where a lot of other P&S brands require expensive AA's. I absoultely love the chance to make the video resoultions bigger for putting onto DVD and the included chord that you can hook straight to tv for viewing is nice too. Overall this camera is GREAT for the $$$ Read more Less

    Pros: Very fast,compact but powerfull,exellent video

    Cons: Optical viewfinder and body color (only metallic gray)

    For a nice price, you get a very powerful and easy to use compact camera!!!Nice thing is manual setings of exposure,aperture priority and ISO sensitivity for those who like to play with photography... The summary is that I am thrilled with this camer...a ! Read more Less
