Nikon's streamlined manufacturing process has allowed it to produce the Action V Series not only at the same quality/performance level as the previous Action IV Series, but also with added benefit of higher specifications and lower pricing. For the Action V Series, Nikon has developed a new aspherical eyepiece lens system that results in extremely clear, distortion-free image sharpness over the entire field of view. Observers with or without eyeglasses will enjoy the wide field of view and bright, clear image offered by the mid-size to full-size binoculars making up the Action V Series. Mid to full size binoculars are most often the choice of experienced hunters and other observers who demand the ultimate in light gathering, field of view and image quality. All Action Series binoculars are constructed with an all-metal chassis and lens fittings housed in a tough, lightweight polycarbonate body shell. The binocular bodies are ergonomically shaped, tripod adaptable and are rubber coated for an easy grip and silent carry. A stylish, blue/gray color complements the new modern design of the Action Series binoculars. Like all Nikon central focus binoculars, the Action Series features a diopter control for total viewing consistency. This control, located on the binocular's right eyepiece, is essential to compensate for common left eye/right eye vision imbalance. Nikon Action V Series binoculars incorporate multi-layered, anti-reflective lens coatings to deliver optimum brightness, high contrast, true colors and viewing free from flare. As in all Nikon binoculars, the series utilizes high quality BaK 4 high-index prisms for clear, round images without vignetting.
