Nicktoons Racing Game Boy Advance

Revving up for some racing fun similar to that of Mario Kart and CTR (Crash Team Racing), NickToons Racing has arrived at the starting line. Players choose one of 12 popular Nicktoons characters and can win the chance to race as the Mystery Driver. The invitation to race for the Krusty Krab Big Bun Award has been accepted on multiple platforms, and the Game Boy Advance hasn't been excluded.

Racing begins with each player selecting from a variety of Nicktoons characters, including: Rugrats' Tommy and Angelica, The Wild Thornberrys' Eliza and Darwin, Arnold and Helga from Hey Arnold, and The Angry Beavers' Daggett and Norbert. Players can choose from three racing modes -- Cup Racing, Time Trial, or Just for Fun -- on one of three difficulty settings. In addition, a Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable can be added for multiplayer action.

Power-ups are randomly available throughout each Nicktoon-themed track, including Speed Burst Tokens that temporarily boost speed after enough have been collected. Acquired mystery items can also be strategically used to delay competitors or cause them to spin out of control. Examples of these include Ickis' Trashcan, Tommy's Talcum Powder, and homing Jellyfish and Gooze. Track Boost Arrows are present for temporary bursts of speed, while Jump Bumps help the cars avoid holes in the track. Four races are present in each Cup and by winning all races, the Mystery Driver will be revealed. ~ Jennifer Beam, All Game Guide
