What can you not love about the Newsies? They are a whole bunch of hott guys and I love musicals. This is my ultimate favorite movie of all time. I haev memorized all the songs and all the guys names. I love how they talk and they all act like they are nice to girls. It is just a really good movie I love to rent it all the time. All I got to say is thank you Mrs. Sphar for showing us that movie in 6th grade God love you.

This movie is fantastic. It's timeless. I can watch it over and over again, and I'd never get tired of watching it. I first saw this movie when I was a kid back in '92, '93, and '94. I would watch it on The Disney Channel every single time it came on. This movie gave me such a great feeling back then everytime I watched it. I absolutely loved everything about this movie. I thought the music was fun and exciting. It made you want to get up and dance and sing with them. The brotherly love and commradery between the Newsies was heart warming. It was the kind of brotherly love that I envied because I had no real brothers. The movie was also something that I could relate to because I was a young man myself. I always have an affinity for movies set in a yesteryear era such as this. I thought the whole culture of that time, which was portrayed in this movie very well, was fascinating. I loved all of the classic New York accents. They sounded so cool talking and singing with their accents. The cast was incredible. All star! There were so many young stars there, and I didn't get the full scope of it until years later because many of them went on to bigger movies and bigger roles. It's been 14 years and this movie still stirs up the same emotions in me, as if it were the very 1st time. That is the true definition of transcending time. Disney doesn't make movies quite like that anymore. They put a lot of heart into that one. This movie made me yurn for more at the end, and wish that it didn't end. I enjoyed it that much. What else is there to say about it? Extraordinary.

I have loved this movie since I was a child. My sister and I watched it at least 4 times a week and know every song, every dance, and every cheesy line by heart. This is the movie that made me fall in love with Christian Bale and I've been a huge fan ever since.

Cons: A little childish
Ok, I was a little afraid of this movie when I first got it to watch, but by realising that it would be cheesy, I was able to look past that and I love it. One thing I've noticed is that people either LOVE it or Hate it, I've never run into anyone in between. But I reccomend it to everyone.

This is one of those Disney films that I wish Disney would pay more attention to,it's one of the coolest musical films I have ever seen. Whether it's the nicely done musical numbers or the cute + spunky newsies,this is a must-see. I can't understand why this didn't do good in theaters,but oh well. Oh yeah,did anybody know that some of the kids in here were in the old Nickelodeon show "Roundhouse" together?

Pros: I fell in love with the Newsies the first time I saw it! I love the Music and Dancing.
Cons: I wish I could see the Deleted scenes, like the one of the warehouse on the cover.
The Newsies is one of my favorite movies and i fell in love with it the first time I saw it. I first watched in 5th grade and everytime I want to watch a movie that will let me leave the room with great songs stuck in my head to annoy everyone else with my singing, I reach for the newsies! I would love it if The Newsies would come out as a Broadway musical! I would try out to be on the cast or I would be in the audience for that very first show! I love the Newsies and I love Jack, Blink, Spot, and Mush!!!!!

Every person in the movie was cast PERFECTLY!! (the only one in ? is sarah she looks good in several shots but there are some iffy ones) The dances and songs were amazing i find myself singing them constantly at work, school, church, wherever. I fell in love with each and every character throughout the movie. There isn't enough I could say about this movie it's the most amazing movie ive ever seen! It's the feel good movie of the millenium. Everytime you're feeling down just pop in this movie sit back sing and dance along (if you can) to the movie and in no time you'll see this huge smile spread across your face. This movie is highly recomended for those of you who haven't seen it yet go rent it! You won't be disappointed.

Overall GREAT film! i know every single word to the songs. This movie made me fall in love with Christian Bale. The acting and dancing were outstanding. Best Musical i have ever seen! I am going to buy it one of these days. "Im the king of New York!" A++!

Pros: addictive music
Cons: too short/ needs a sequel
this is an amazing movie!! the songs stay in your head and you find yourself singing them in the weiredest places e.x. 8th grade american history :D my school chior started to watch the movie since we are singing the songs. i found it soo addictive that i bought it. this movie should be bought and kept as a treasure for many more years...no decades to come.
