    this album has got their most known songs on it and it is quite good but its better to get their album ROCK N ROLL because its got all the songs off of this album exept for PILLS plus all their other best songs like WHO ARE THE MYSTERY GIRLS,HUMAN BE...ING,STRANDED IN THE JUNGLE.     THE 1ST PUNK ALBUM AND A MASTERPIECE

    This record is a crash course on glam-rock, punk-rock, and rock'n'roll- a very original piece of in-your-face sleaze that in 1973 had only been hinted at by the Stones or the Kinks. This is where it all begins. . . . . enjoy JoHanson's drawling shout... over Johnny Thunders' wailing distorted guitar lines, replete with doo-woop backround melodies. It does sound like a train-wreck, but its the most swinging train-wreck ever recorded. And even if we can't see them live to enjoy the tights and mascara, this music comes very close to duplicating that experience. You'll find something in it more original and A LOT more genuine than any Marylin Manson has to offer. You will either hate it or love it, but if you care about punk-rock at all you have to hear it.
