New Moon
Pros: great read
Cons: too short?
I was so intrigued with the first book and the 2nd book was being read by my son, so I borrowed a copy and read it in about 9 hours! This book my son was having trouble with but I thought it was just as good as the first book

Pros: could not put it down!!!!!!!!!!!
Cons: edward leaves bella!!!!!!!! at the end he almost comits suicide but bella comes and saves him. :)
this was almost as great a book as the first one. i liked the first better because it wasnt as sad. this one is sad because edward leaves bella. bella befriends jacob, a werewolf, the vampire's enemy. that was not a good move. in the end bella saves edward from suicide basically because he was under the impression that she had been killed. such a alluring book. loved it! cant wait to read eclipse! also gonna see the movie soon. :)

Bravo! Ms Meyer has done it again! This time I found the pages filled with even more emotions and a few of them are now tear stained. I was holding my breath each time I turned a page, eager to see each scene unfold and watch the drama play out! A must read after Twilight! Looking forward to Eclipse now!!

New Moon is great it definitely measures up to Twilightâs reputation. The story is a bit depressing in some spots but it is still a great, relatable story. Even though it involves mythical creatures it still seems so real. Bella is very relatable. She is a normal teenage girl with normal teenage issues which worsen in the second book. If you loved Twilight then you will love new moon!!!

Pros: good story line, can feel the pain of the characters
Cons: the plot is too transparent
By "transparent," I meant that the plot is just TOO easy to guess. The plot is still good, of course. Stephenie Meyer did a good job in describing Bella's sadness and depression that she went through. I could FEEL her pain;I could almost relate to her. It was a very good writing. The middle of the book was kind of boring, but, again, like in Twilight, the first book, all the action (important ones) seems to be concentrated at the very end of the book. I am not exactly complaining about this fact. It is just that the actions and the romance was not well distributed. Most of the book talks about the "romance" between Jacob and Bella. And then toward the end, Jacob was dumped as Bella turned to Edward, who disappeared from the plot of the book almost all together (Since Bella tried to forget him, Edward is only mentioned as "he" or "beautiful person" or whatever Bella thinks of him.)
The fact that Edward almost disappear almost all together in this book did not please me. I like Edward as many other readers do. But I suppose his disappearance was nesessary--in order to bring about the topis of werewolves.
Overall, the book was great. The action (at the end) was good. The romance was awesome and last of all, the writing is very good.Was this review helpful? Yes - NoW-O-W

If you haven't read the first book, you're missing something huge! before you buy this buy the first book (Twilght) But anyway...
Bella goes too this party at the cullens (Edwards family) and gets cut, one of Edwards brothers goes nuts and tries to kill her--he doesn't want to, he's just a vampire--Edward says his family has to leave because he thinks they're a "hazard" to her life so they spread out across the world while Bella is going super deperssed on everyone. She does these crazy things (Example: Jump off cliffs) just so she'll here Edwards voice in her head.
Alice sees Bella drown blah, blah, blah, Edward finds out and goes suicidal! He travels to Italy to take his shirt off and stands out in a crowd of two million of people just so the vultrie will chop him up and burn him. (Retards said they wouldn't kill themselves for each other. Qoute: "would you have wanted me to kill myself if you had died Edward?"
Qoute: "No." Un-qoute.)
Bella finally finds out she'll be turned into a vampire also.
:) If you tink this book sounds stupid from me...deal with it. I can barely type right now I'm getting so excited over remembering it. and if you think this book sucks

I finished reading New Moon awhile back. For the ones who don't know, New Moon is the second book in my favorite ceries, Twilight. Twilght is a book about an ordanary high school girl falling in love with a vampire named Edward. New Moon was a great secule but Twilight is still my favorite. Anyway here is my summary of New Moon.
Bella and Edward have been together for a almost a year now, but one day Edward tells Bella that his family is moving away from Forks. When Edward leaves Bella he has her promise to stay out of trouble and she goes into this zombie-like state to keep from remembering Edward. This goes on for months until her dad, Charlie threatens to have her move back with her mom if she doesn't go back to normal and socalize. Not wanting to go back to her mom and her new husband Bella starts comunicating with her friends again and meets up with one of her native friends Jacob. One day though Bella desides to go to a meadow that Edward took her to once to see if there is anything there that will ease the pain of remembering him. When she finds the meadow it leads her into nothing but trouble for a vampire that Edward killed the mate of is now trying to kill Bella for revenge. Not did Bella realize that are not only are vampires real but also thier enemy, werewolves. In the end Edward does come back but, Bella is left with only two choices. Become a vampire but lose her best friend thats a werewolf, or stay human and be killed by vampires.

Also a great book. I can't say I liked it as much as Twilight but it's still awesome! It goes more in depth about Bella and Edwards feelings for each other than Twilight. I can't wait for the third book, Eclipse, to come out!!!!

Cons: Edward acting like an asshole in the 3rd chap, Jake becoming a werewolf so now Bellas torn between him & the vampires, Bella turns a yr older than Edward
This was a great sequel to Twilight. The only thing I didnt like was Edward hurting Bella so bad & yet at the end she goes back to him. If that was me I would have told him to stay away from me. Anyways I am glad they got back together. & then there was the whole thing with Jacob. I know it was really hard 4 her that her boyfriend & her best friend were worse enemies. & I take back what I said earlier, i prob would go back 2 edward. & he proposed! if I was her i would have said yes right off the bat. Now we all have to wait for Eclipse to come out this August/Sept. to see what she says. AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!
