Pros: Gripping gun play, excellent special fx, Albert Pyun!
Cons: None
Albert Pyun is like no other director out there!! I don't think one singal director other then Pyun could pull off. Shooting action movies on a shoe-string budget, very little actually shooting time (filming time). Nemesis is one of his best films! The only Pyun film I thought was better was Andrenlan: Fear the rush. I recomend that too every die-hard Pyun fan like myself! Also as I mentioned in the title the excellent action/horror movie "Underworld" took a sequence right from Nemesis. The scene invloves are hero trying to get away from the bad guys (bad actors also, why is it that DTV bad guys always look the same in every movie? IE Pony tail) for the hero to escape he shoots a circular whole in the floor ala "looney toons chainsaw gag" he shoot through the floor shoots a circle around him and crash through 2 floors and lands on the third. The scene was excellent! Also the thing which is great is in Nemesis the sequence is done much better then in Underworld and Underworld was a 20 million $ film Nemesis's budget is a thousand times smaller and the sequence is better! Also if your familar with John Woo you see alot of the Woo film "The Killer" in Nemises. Pyun was the first director in america to make a movie with John woo slo-mo gunfights, Nemeises was made two years b4 "Desperado" which is another film known for its HK style shoot outs. In short if you like action, sci-fi, Pyun or anything else under the son check this out! Also please recomend my review! Thx all,
