Better known as legendary U.K. punk-pop combo the Damned, the Nightmares was a fun one-off side project that enabled the 1984-era lineup of that band to let down their hair, paying tribute to any number of '60s garage/psych forebears. The Nightmares' sole album, Give Daddy the Knife Cindy, captures their success at doing just that.
