This is a great movie! Chevy Chase at his best. If you've loved the Griswolds' past movies...then you'll love this one.

you can't watch this movie and not have egg nog come out of your nose,unless you don't like egg nog, but why wouldn't you like egg nog, it's delicious. whats christmas without egg nog?there's nothing like sitting back at the fire place looking out t...he window at the snow falling with all the christmas lights on the houses and enjoying a good cup of nog. i remember when i wouldn't touch egg nog cause i thought it would taste like eggs, i don't know what i was thinking, my wasted childhood without egg nog. anyways i love egg nog. Pros: reminds me of my crazed family

i didn't think i'd like this movie, because most of my mom and dad's old movies are boring, but one random day i got bored and decided to watch it. i'm so glad i did. i get so tired of the normal christmas movies. this is not one of ...them. when the guy was putting 63623535262 christmas lights all over his house, i thought of my dad. and all though there aren't a bunch of grumpy old people yelling about everything, and i don't have an uncle that decides to dump his sewage down the street sewer and start "fireworks", it really reminds me of my family. i don't think i've ever watched a christmas movie that reminded me of my family before. anyway, it's absolutely hilerious, between the part where his son catches him shopping for lingerie, and the part where the old lady starts saying the pledge of alliegence instead of praying... i'd say it's probably one of the most ridiculous movies ever. you should watch it. and it has a happy ending that is supposed to have some kind of moral. just like every other christmas movie! I can't have christmas without watching this atleast five times. I cannot honestly believe anybody could watch this without laughing out loud. The only one of the sequels to live up to the original--by giving up on the travelling jokes. The movie starts slow but picks up when cousin Eddie arrives. Lot of fun stuff, especially watching them torture Elaine from Seinfeld...
