Christmas Vacation
Pros: reminds me of my crazed family
Cons: you may wet yourself
i didn't think i'd like this movie, because most of my mom and dad's old movies are boring, but one random day i got bored and decided to watch it. i'm so glad i did.
i get so tired of the normal christmas movies. this is not one of them.
when the guy was putting 63623535262 christmas lights all over his house, i thought of my dad. and all though there aren't a bunch of grumpy old people yelling about everything, and i don't have an uncle that decides to dump his sewage down the street sewer and start "fireworks", it really reminds me of my family. i don't think i've ever watched a christmas movie that reminded me of my family before. anyway, it's absolutely hilerious, between the part where his son catches him shopping for lingerie, and the part where the old lady starts saying the pledge of alliegence instead of praying... i'd say it's probably one of the most ridiculous movies ever. you should watch it.

you can't watch this movie and not have egg nog come out of your nose,unless you don't like egg nog, but why wouldn't you like egg nog, it's delicious. whats christmas without egg nog?
there's nothing like sitting back at the fire place looking out the window at the snow falling with all the christmas lights on the houses and enjoying a good cup of nog. i remember when i wouldn't touch egg nog cause i thought it would taste like eggs, i don't know what i was thinking, my wasted childhood without egg nog. anyways i love egg nog.Was this review helpful? I can't have christmas without watching this atleast five times. I cannot honestly believe anybody could watch this without laughing out loud. I've probably seen it about a hundred times and it can still bring tears to my eyes. If you love christmas, this is the movie to watch, it really gets me into the christmas spirit.

The only one of the sequels to live up to the original--by giving up on the travelling jokes. The movie starts slow but picks up when cousin Eddie arrives. Lot of fun stuff, especially watching them torture Elaine from Seinfeld...

Still a classic from the day I saw it in the theater. Whoever said this movie is "stale".....is stale themselves! You MUST have a sense of humor for this film and a bit of knowledge from the previous "Vacation" films. Opens funny and ends funny!

"Christmas Vacation" is a step up from "European Vacation" and the forthcoming "Vegas Vacation", which doesn't say too much. There is some fun gags as Chevy Chase's wacky relatives and a squirrel running rampant in the Griswold house during the dinner, but this remains a stale and obnoxious sequel that never rises above the stupidity.

This is hands down the best of all the "vacation" films made to date. Chevy Chase is great, but Randy Quaid takes the spotlight in this one. A definate must see movie!

This is the most hilarious movie I've ever seen! It's family tradition at my house to watch it every Christmas. The whole family sits down and enjoys it. There are very few awkward moments between my parents and I. I love this movie and reccommend it to anyone looking for a laugh this holiday season and holiday seasons yet to come!
