nas makes a low album, his worst one and i am sure a lot of people may agree if they have heard illmatic or it was written. This album may be bad for nas, but its not bad among most other rappers. I still will have respect for nas even if he gets materialistic. if u like nas u might like this album, its really about preference, i for one like this album and u should at least give it a chance.

I Am... was a good effort, but this was wack. Nas talks
about money and materialistic sh*t. Thats not the Nasty
NaS that we know. The only good song on here is
"Nastradamus", and "Shoot em up".
Dont waste ur money on this!! Buy Illmatic, It was

The songs on here that are good really are good songs but the entire album doesn't have it all or at least all that it could. "Come Get Me" may even be worth buying it if only for that song...it is one of the best singles I've heard. If you like Nas it's worth it.

Great album, not quite as down to earth (or should I say ghetto) as illmatic, but will anything ever be? Life we chose and Project windows are two good ones and they are several good "hype songs" including nastradamus, shoot em' up, big girl, new world, and you owe me (feat. ginuwine). Definetly recommend.

his 1st cd "illmatic"is the best ever he made, he did it with alot of passion similar to mobb deeps single "shook ones part 2",(the whole albums like it) he made us feel his pain , nas doesnt seem to rap with passion and realness any more.. its more like hes spitting out words from a script,, not words from his heart,,,, cus he is already RICH and

y). Besides nas is probably has that storytelling vibe like 2pac did. If 2pac was alive, he probably would've squash his beef with nas. 2pac had respect nas before nas came out with "It Was Written." That's when 2pac thought nas jack his style. Anyways, their are alot of rap artists today biting off from 2pac. That just goes to show how much influence he had over people(so fuck L.L. Gay J).If you want to complain about style biting. That would be jay-z, I happen to hear that he barrowed one of nas' lines from this song he did with raekwon and ghostface back in '95, the song is called "verbal Intercourse" from the "Only Built On Cuban Linx." album. But I forgot which line it was though. But it's also a giving that he jack snoop's lines, "For Shizzle My Nezzle." from the "What's My Name Pt.2." video. So won't u complain at gay-z. I don't think 2pac respect his ass anyways. It's funny when 2pacs dead and every once in awhile you hear "Fuck Jay-z." from 2pac. Especially on the death row too gangsta for radio compilation disc.

Could have been better

I'd say this an average album...and for Nas, that is bad. Because he felt so compelled to release this so shortly after "I Am..." it seems like it was made up of the songs that didn't make the cut for "I Am...", the beats seem too simple and the choruses and themes are elementary for Nas. The good tracks are "You Owe Me" and the title track "Nastradamus", both of which became singles. Bottom line, I don't like listening to it too much. On most tracks it seems like it was almost to that nexy level but the flow doesn't match the beats and the hooks don't have that extra punch. It was dissapointing but after "I Am..." anything would seem to be.

Bring back ILLMATIC!

Although much better than the last album (I Am...), this album is aight but not so good. He brought back Havoc on Shoot 'Em Up, but the beat is very un-Mobb Deep like so I don't know about the beat Havoc produced. This is also where he disses Memphis Bleek (on Nastradamus) when he says "You wanna ball 'till you fall, I can help you with that". He's commentin' on Bleek's "What You Think Of That?" Nas still has Premier. Did a song called Come Get Me. That shit was phat. But still, Nas needs to bring back Illmatic. I'm talkin' about beats raw like Illmatic. Not commercial shit from Trackmasters, Dame Grease, L.E.S., and Timberland.

I like this album, but it is not as good as NAs really is. Most of the beats are okay, but don't seem as enlighting as ones from It Was Written. Overall it is easily his worst work but his lyrical talent stays above the rest. I hope his next work will be much better!!!!
